  • Summary

    • Reports to the EVP/GM Brock.
    • Provides leadership and direction for Brock Regional Sales Management teams and independent authorized Brock distributors to achieve 3rd party sales goals for Asia and China.
    • Implement and manage the BU's sales and distribution strategy.
    • Lead and direct the introduction of new products to our distributors and customers.
    • Develop and communicate with Brock’s Director of Marketing sales requirements for new product developments.
    • Implement the overall BU marketing strategy for our products through coordination and consultation with Brock's Director of Marketing.
    • Direct the Local Technical Service Personnel to: insure prompt response to customer concerns, product warranty response is timely; warranty programs are developed and instituted as needed to deal with product issues and oversee warranty expense to maintain a balance between costs and customer satisfaction.
    • Manage and control spending to stay within assigned budgets and adjust as necessary in response to market demands.
    • Plan and implement local field sales promotions and activities to build our name brand image in the market place and develop key customer relationships.
    • In conjunction and coordination with our BU's senior management team provide detailed analysis and direction for our annual business planning cycle as it relates to our markets, sales forecast, distribution analysis, pricing plan, competitive analysis and expense budgeting.

    Specific Responsibilities

    • Manage and control pricing to achieve a balance between competitive price pressures, sales growth targets and internal profitability goals.
    • Manage and control spending levels within budgeted goals.
    • Review sales performance of regional sales managers and distributors and take corrective actions as needed.
    • Manage and control our sales distribution program within the guidelines established.
    • Meet regularly with product development teams to track project status towards our goals and provide timely input on market requirements.
    • Travel with regional sales managers to review performance of distributors in their areas and to meet with key integrators to assess current market conditions.
    • Meet with customers to review product performance and ascertain new product needs or requirements.
    • Provide timely and accurate feedback to EVP/GM relative to market conditions, competitive changes, distribution channel changes and other relevant information.
    • Provide monthly product demand forecasts looking out 6 months.
    • Manage all aspects of personnel management requirements for the regional sales management and technical service team.
    • Coordinate with other Brock sales team members and various CTB BUs to assist in projecting a strong image to our distributors and the market in general.
    • Be a visible ambassador for the Brock brand in the market place.


    • BS degree, engineering or related field preferred.
    • 10 years plus of sales management experience preferably with independent distribution.
    • Strong background in poultry husbandry is required.
    • Prior experience in developing sales plans and expense budgeting.
    • Experience in leading product definition and implementation efforts.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills demonstrated at all internal and external levels in both small and large group settings.
    • Proven team oriented player.
    • Strong computer skills with all Microsoft office products.
    • Willing to travel extensively.
    • Willing to live within the Asian market area.
    • Ability to write, read and speak an Asian language will be a plus.
