    Specific Responsibilities

    What You’ll Do:

     

    As the VP & Treasurer, you will research, develop, execute and lead the global treasury and tax activity, ensuring cash goals are attained and global compliance with taxation regimes.  You will also oversee domestic benefit plans (401K) and related compliance as a member of the Benefits Committee.

     

    Your Accountabilities in the Role: 

    • Oversee and ensure timely, accurate global tax reporting while appropriately minimizing tax liability within the law. Directly oversee domestic tax compliance while monitoring international locations for tax compliance.
    • Research, develop, execute, and lead the global treasury activity and internal controls related to U.S. and international cash management, including bank deposit and disbursement activity, foreign exchange positions, hedging activities, and prudent investment of excess cash balances, ensuring cash goals are attained and within compliance of various internal/external policies/practices. Develop efficient mechanisms for managing and transacting business.
    • Provide key financial leadership on strategic business decisions based on the treasury activity.
    • Effectively direct, manage and control the company’s cash position to accommodate acquisitions, approved capital expenditures and seasonal working capital needs.
    • Oversee and ensure full compliance, accurate record keeping, adequate investment options and reasonable costs for the company’s retirement plans.
    • Provide clear, concise analysis of key treasury metrics. Develop efficient and effective analysis, tools and mechanisms as necessary to support the business and decision-making processes.
    • You may oversee the shared services group, responsible for processing Payroll and Accounts Payable for most domestic locations, ensuring accurate processing and cost containment.

    Requirements

    Position Requirements: 

     

    • Education: BS Degree in Finance or Accounting, with an MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred
    • Experience: 7 + years of industry financial management experience in a globally-oriented environment.
    • Functional Skills:  Advanced skill set in international, corporate cash management and international taxation.  Trade finance experience would be a plus. Solid financial and analytical skills with reviewing large amounts of data to make sound business judgments. Strong ability to research, analyze, and create continuous improvement to processes for improved effectiveness and efficiencies.  Strong payroll background and payroll tax experience.
    • Technology Skills: Strong ERP & Microsoft Office skillset; solid experience with query tools and report writing. Previous experience with tax software a plus.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communications skills to work with all levels within an organization.   Excellent presentation skills are also needed in this role.

    Other Important Information:     

     

    Salary:  Salary is commensurate with proven expertise.

     

    This position is eligible for bonus & profit sharing!  And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows!

     

    Reports To:   VP & CFO                                                                                                                                             

     

    Core Hours:   8:00 am – 5:00pm (schedule can be flexible; will work approx. 9-10 hours within this timeframe)

     

    Typical Work Week:  M-F; some weekends & additional hours required (when applicable); 50 hours a week on average

     

    Direct Reports:     1 - 2

     

    Travel:   Approximately 10%
