    Specific Responsibilities

    What You’ll Do:


    As the Regional Sales Manager, you will develop, execute, and manage the sales, marketing, and distribution strategies for the Latin America markets to meet or exceed sales goals for the area.    


    Your Accountabilities in the Role: 

    • You will partner with the Sales Manager on developing and executing a sales plan to attain new business through new and existing distributors, customers, and regions, with a focus on increasing market share and driving profitable sales growth.
    • You will analyze and develop new and existing distribution channels and customers based on annual market needs, with a goal to increase Chore-Time products in the designated regions.
    • You will partner with Distributors by setting annual goals, preparing quotations, creating design suggestions – as well as conducting periodic reviews – to ensure business plans and activities meet or exceed the end goals.
    • You will partner with distributors, customers, and prospective customers to continually educate, train, troubleshoot, and provide support on Chore-Time products to continually enhance customer loyalty and purchases.
    • You will work closely with customers, end-users, and industry organizations to research new trends and provide market information, competitive actions, and influences to management for future planning.


    Position Requirements: 

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in a Technical or Engineering discipline or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Experience: 3+ years of B2B distribution channel and consultative selling experience, with equipment required; preferable experience in the poultry or agricultural markets within Latin America – with significant focus and previous experience in the Brazil market highly preferred
    • Functional Skills: Proven business planning, sales/networking, execution, and follow-through skills required; Experience setting annual goals and action plans for new territories; Experience providing education and training to influence sales; Mechanical ability to lightly troubleshoot equipment; ability to research, inquire, and execute on market data to build future strategies is also required 
    • Technology Skills: Solid PC skills; Intermediate Microsoft Office product experience (Word/Excel)
    • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Foundational language skills in Portuguese and Spanish is preferred

    Other Important Information:     


    Position Salary: Salary is commensurate with proven expertise.


    This position is also eligible for commissions!  And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows!


    Reports To:  Sales Manager – Americas


    Typical Work Week:  M-F; some weekends when needed; 50+ hours a week on average


    Direct Reports:  None


    Travel: 50% overnight & international travel
