    Specific Responsibilities

    What You’ll Do:

     

    As the Operations Manager, you will lead the operation of the facilities to deliver a high-level of performance, operating efficiency, and optimal capacity to meet the business and financial goals.

     

    Your Accountabilities in the Role:

    • You will optimize the different facilities and seek opportunities to enhance efficiencies within the European group.
    • You will drive a culture of continuous improvement and standardization of processes to create optimal quality, service, and cost at the various locations.
    • You will cascade operational goals throughout the facilities to meet the over-arching global goals, creating a road map, action plans, and metrics to monitor and manage the process for success.
    • You will recruit, develop, and lead a team that is continuously growing for mutual success.
    • You will coordinate between the European Sales Manager, Corporate, and Corporate Operations in Milford to ensure global best practices and customer goals are achieved.

    Requirements

    Position Requirements: 

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Operational Management, Business, or other related field; or the equivalent of education and experience
    • Experience: 5+ years of forward-thinking operations management experience within a production & warehouse environment; a strong technical aptitude and a Lean-thinking background is also required
    • Functional Skills: Strategic-thinking skills with the ability to plan, organize, and implement initiatives; results-oriented; great time-management skills; ability to manage and drive metrics within remote teams; ability to manage P&L expectations  
    • Technology Skills: Some familiarity with ERP systems within a manufacturing environment
    • Language Skills: Must be fluent in Dutch and English. Excellent written & verbal communication skills, along with presentation skills, are also required
    • Leadership/Behaviors: Excellent Servant Leadership mentality; ability to manage and drive change; accountable; independent learner with the ability to listen, network, and influence others in a fast-paced environment
    • Culture Match: The right person will be able to work within a very collaborative team environment and have the natural ability to take a vision and turn it into a concept. 

    Other Important Information:      

     

    Position Salary: Salary is commensurate with proven expertise. 

     

    This position is eligible for bonus!  And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows!

     

    Reports To:       Vice President & General Manager

     

    Core Hours:   7:00am – 5:00pm (schedule can be flexible; will work approx. 8-9 hours within this timeframe)

     

    Typical Work Week:  M-F; some weekends required (when applicable); 45-50 hours a week on average

     

    Direct Reports:     5

     

    Travel:   Approximately 25% local and international travel
